Amy Koch-Oman returns to writing fiction after 23 years of generating grocery lists, forging school forms and absentee ballots. Amy, born in Chicago, went East to attend Bates College, then further East to London for the Sotheby’s Works of Art Course and then back to America for an MA at Columbia Teacher’s College. After 15 years of moving between London and Manhattan, she now divides her time between Bronxville NY, Nantucket MA and the land of dreamy dreams. Amy, at heart a poet and short story writer, is wrestling with a wily novel and attends classes at The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence and The Westport Writer’s Workshop. She is married, has two older children, a 12 year old blind dog named Otto and a new puppy, Monty.
