Bojidar Bakalov was born in 1962 in Sofia, Bulgaria, which is not his greatest fault. In 1980, he graduated as Doctor of Medicine. This dramatically changed his life, and since then, he has been compelled to engage in work that, at least theoretically, should be beneficial to society. Since the beginning of the century, he has lived with his wife and son in the USA. It was here, under public pressure, that he admitted his interests in literature, visual arts, music, and easily digestible concepts in philosophy. However, his greatest passion remains wasting time. This has so undermined his intellectual integrity that he wrote his first novel, It’s Not Easy to Be a Demon, published in 2024 in Bulgarian for unclear reasons. Strangely enough, he has several publications in the literary magazine Fakel and the annual anthology Ljuboslov of the League of Bulgarian Writers in the USA and Worldwide. His future behavior remains unpredictable.
