I am a mother, retired special education teacher, dog/cat/horse owner, hiker, gym inhabiter, vegetarian, art-of-all-kinds enthusiast, urban dweller, frequent rural visitor, avid reader, and lover of unusual people and fictional characters. I have written causally my whole life, but became serious about it following a Teachers as Writers class 12 years ago. I am now working on a novel.
