I hold an MFA in fiction from Columbia University. In 2014, I was awarded an honorable mention in Austin's Texas Observer's short story contest judged by Elizabeth McCracken and have been a fiction finalist for The Lighthouse's Lit Fest Emerging Writer fellowship two years in a row (2017 & 2018). I've organized several readings for International Women's Day that showcase talented writers, while raising awareness for women's rights related organizations. I am the communications & editorial manager for independent children's publishing house, Madeleine Editions.
