A mother of 3 grown daughters, a grandmother of 12 children, a loving wife to one. I've been married to the same wonderful man for 44 years, live near the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. I was born in Flint, Michigan to lower-middle class parents, Robert & Betty Daley. I had the distinct honor of having the title, "firstborn," and because I was a navy-brat, we moved to where the ships were berthed, San Diego here we come. We welcomed the arrival of my siblings, Roberta & Timothy. Our little family, minus an alcoholic father traveled back to Michigan, then after some time onto Wisconsin. I lived the young teenage life in Milwaukee, met my husband and married him in 1972, at the tender 18 years old. January 1975 saw a cold winter in Wisconsin, as is most winters, "let's head to warmer waters," declares Mr. VanDerLouis. We find ourselves in semi-tropical paradise, West Palm Beach, Florida. The following years we raise our daughters, see them get married, and move to mountains of Tennessee.
