I am an aspiring writer who has been writing for nearly five years. I first started reading with the fifth Harry Potter book which eventually lead to my desire to become a writer. I have many many stories I am currently working on and hope to have at least one finished and published within the year. Also I keep a daily journal as often as i can. I also have written many poems and song lyrics. My ultimate goal as a writer is to become published and obviously be successful. I guess around the time that I started reading that fifth Harry Potter book I spoke to my mentor in college. I explained to him my desire to want to write something as great as Harry Potter. He said I would never write something that great and that Harry Potter was a once in a lifetime thing. Well, I say to him, you're wrong. I will see my vision upon paper before the end. After all J.K. Rowling never imagined she would write something as epic as Harry Potter. And now 17 years later here we are. Maybe my time is now!
