I am a writer who was sidelined by illness, but recovered and is getting back into it. My illness at one point led doctors to advise that I should get my "affairs in order". That led to thoughts about death and reincarnation, which are the underlying themes of Interregnum. I have fortunately recovered since then, and enjoyed writing immensely.
