Jessica Bryant Klagmann grew up in New England surrounded by artists and naturalists. She received an MFA from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she was also fortunate enough to acquire a haunted truck, an adventurous husband, and a too-adventurous dog. Her fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Whitefish Review, Crab Creek Review, Written River: A Journal of Eco-Poetics, and elsewhere.
