I am a poet, bi-lingual in English and Chinese who has written in verse/blank verse since childhood. Now, I am a retired professor of Chinese, English, English as a Second Language and Linguistics. But, prior to teaching, I lived and worked in the wonderful world of diplomacy, thus I have visited 26 cities in China, and traveled throughout Asia and Europe.
My Midwest sojourn offered me rich. black earth for digging in the dirt, which inspired me to compose twelve Poems of the Month for a collection of the local flora which I photographed and made into a book, "May I Show You a Garden of Poetry?"
