Author Bio: N.J. Simat earned a BA in Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Georgia State but found her true calling in creative writing at Emory. Simat is the author of five books, including Club Daze and The Subtle Realm, Tufts Adventure Series, along with two nonfiction books, The Coopbook and Hen or Roo: what to do; as well as, several works of poetry. Her writing reflects themes of humanitarianism, metaphysics, and resilience, often drawing inspiration from Sanity Ranch, a small animal sanctuary she runs in North Georgia.
