Shane Manthei is an emerging writer who is a semi-finalist in the William Faulkner Writing Competition of 2015 for his novel Gateway. He also has a short story entitled "Pop Art" published in the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's Southwestern Review 2016 (what a mouthful). One day, he hopes his writing will help people laugh at the serious bits.
