Alice Martin received her BA in English and Creative Writing from UNC Chapel Hill, where she was awarded the Max Steele Prize in Fiction Writing. She’s worked at Writers House, LLC, Folio Literary Management, and Algonquin Books. Her writing has appeared in the Carolina Quarterly, Appalachian Heritage, and The Bookends Review, among others. She’s currently a graduate student at New York University and a regular contributor to Shelf Awareness.
