Amy Leah Milligan grew up in a small rural town. She studied English literature and education at Columbia College. At the age of eight, she started writing short stories, then developed an appreciation for poetry as a young adult. She draws inspiration from her relationships, experiences, and copious amounts of coffee. Her poetry has been featured in Tethered by Letters. She currently resides in Columbia, MO with her cat and travel companion, Madelyn.
