I am an engineer in the Navy who also happens to enjoy writing and reading; I grew up devouring any and all books, thanks to my mother being an English teacher. I tend to write poetry (and start many a piece of fiction, though I have yet to finish one), though I mainly enjoy reading fiction. My favorite author is Jane Austen and my favorite book is Pride and Prejudice.
I have not had any poetry published, but the research conducted for my thesis group was published in Inorganics (http://www.mdpi.com/2304-6740/2/2/211).
