Audrey Kalman has been writing fiction, poetry, and non-fiction since she was old enough to hold a pen. She published "Dance of Souls" in 2011 and has had another novel accepted for publication by Sand Hill Review Press. Her short fiction and poetry have appeared in many online and print journals, including "Boundoff", "Every Day Fiction," "Fault Zone," "The Jewish Literary Journal," "The Sand Hill Review," and "Punchnels." She is a two-time first-place winner in the San Mateo County Fair’s Literary Arts competition and served as editor for two editions of "Fault Zone," an annual anthology of California writers.
Her new novel in progress sets out in a different direction. A little bit of dystopia, a little bit of family drama, it explores what it means to be human and what happens when we lose the ability to tell stories.
