Benjamin Shields is a high school English teacher in Winnsboro, Louisiana and he writes for the local paper. He graduated with an MFA in Fiction from the Creative Writing Workshop of the University of New Orleans, and his stories have appeared in Fiction Southeast, decomP, Gris-Gris, and Dead Mule.
