68 years old, retired, and living in the coffee-growing region of Colombia, where I have lived and worked for 24 years, unfortunately only four of them in this part of Colombia. I have lived, worked, and traveled outside the U.S. for about 38 years now.
Our family consists of my wife and I and two young children. Only recently have I begun to write poetry, although I taught it at high school level for twelve years at a bilingual school in coastal Colombia.
Practicing hatha yoga and bicycling on the road that threads the region keeps me fitter than most people my age. I also give God a good deal of credit for that.
