Bill Pippin spent 20 years in advertising, 16 years teaching college-level creative writing, and most of his life writing fiction and nonfiction. His short story “Beach Party†was nominated for the 2019 Pushcart Prize; his short story “Century†won first prize in the Summer 2014 edition of Sixfold; his short story "A Brother Offended" won second prize in the Summer 2019 edition of Sixfold; other stories and essays have appeared in various anthologies, as well as The MacGuffin, Black Fox, Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine, Mike Shayne’s Mystery Magazine, Newsweek, Field & Stream, Reader’s Digest, Writer’s Digest, Philadelphia Magazine, New Mexico Magazine, and many other publications.
