L. Michael Black, received an A.A. degree from Central High School Philadelphia, PA; earned a B.S. in English; MBA – Communications, and PhD – Metaphysics; he is a Distinguished Toastmaster whose passions are public speaking, writing, photography and golf; enjoyed successful careers in government, education and private industry; is a 30 year member of the Nichiren Daishonin Buddhist Sect (SGI-USA), a committed advocate for World Peace; awarded a Congressional Fellowship in 1968. He is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, the Professional Speakers Association, the American Legion Department of California, and Kiwanis International. He is a Korean War veteran - the 82nd Airborne;
