A social worker by trade and a poet at heart, Charles McBride's poetry is a form of meditation, a cathartic escape. His words are steeped in the subconscious, sweetened with a dash of altered reality, and best served piping hot with a pouch of top shelf, roll-your-own shag. Some of his work has been published in The Refined Savage Poetry Review, Inscribed, Variations and “Song of Herself†was awarded 3rd place in WTF Magazine's (now defunct) 2007 Poetry Contest.
