Carol Brockfield (cbfield)

I began writing poetry as soon as I could print. I manage a NaPoWriMo website, writing a poem a day during the month of April. Past member of the Napa Poets' Collective and head of the Oregon Poetry Association's Rogue Valley chapter for five years, I am the current vice president of the Oregon Poetry Association and have four published books of poetry: "At Leaf's Edge," "Knife in Hand," "Waiting for the Dark," and "She Walks." My work has been published in Cimarron Review, The Hiss Quarterly, flashquake, Women Writers, Generations of Writers, Verseweavers, The Whistling Fire, Lavender Review, In the Garden of the Crow, and Napa Valley College publications. A retired print editor and small business owner dealing in antique paper collectibles, I am a voracious reader, a birder, and a genealogist who has done family history research since the 1960s, long before there were genealogy websites or online records.
