Cheryl L. Reed is an author and former journalist. She has lengthy publishing credits in nonfiction, including her literary nonfiction book Unveiled: The Hidden Lives of Nuns (Berkley/Penguin). After two decades as a journalist, most recently at the Chicago Sun-Times, Ms. Reed received her MFA from Northwestern in 2012. She was the first managing editor of TriQuarterly Online. She lives in Chicago and is currently working on two linked novels, Dead Girls and Map of My Escape.
