Christine Swint holds an M.F.A. in creative writing/poetry from Georgia State University. She received an M.A. in Spanish language and literature from Middlebury College and has worked as an instructor of both English and Spanish. She has taught courses in poetry writing and composition, and she has trained with Amherst Writers and Artists to lead creative writing workshops.
She won the Agnes Scott poetry prize for her poem “Learning to Pray in Spanish.†Her poems appear or are forthcoming in Slant, a Journal of Poetry, Tampa Review, Birmingham Poetry Review, and others. Her poems have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best of the Net, and Best New Poets.
