Cosette Calendula has used poetry to grieve and heal since before she knew she was hurting. A survivor of childhood sexual trauma, domestic violence, and familial losses, she has found hope and connection in the sharing of pain and growth with others. She is studying to be a therapist and has a passion for music, water restoration, and racial and environmental justice. Identifying as a white, pansexual, ciswoman, Cosette is partnered and enjoys experiencing the wonder of birds, cuddling, and tea.
