Cristina Ferrandez is a Creative Writing MA student at Birkbeck, University of London. She is very interested in the feminist revisionist mythology tradition pioneered by writers such as Angela Carter and in exploring relationship power dynamics and trauma through the lens of fantasy. She is currently working on her first book, a YA fantasy novel inspired by traditional witchcraft practices in the West Country and '90s pop culture.
