I am currently studying Creative Writing at the Orange County School of the Arts in Southern California, where I hone in on my rhythm and meter skills on a daily basis. I’ve utilized poetry and essay-writing as a means for cultural awareness and social progress, providing a bridge in my community between artistic thought and a dearth of criminal advocacy. Outside of the creative writing realm, I am an avid activist for criminal justice, Asian-American, and women’s rights. I channel my advocacy through my directing of various nonprofits, such as the Justice Education Project and TurnUp Activism, which focuses on youth voter engagement.
Outside of these activities, I participate in Congress-style debate in the national circuit. In my free time, I enjoy baking and ballet!
