Daniel Georgeson is a preschool teacher by day, poet by night, fulltime superhero. He wrote plays about writing plays and did standup comedy about not being funny before stumbling on the world of spoken word. He has a degree
from The Evergreen State College focusing on creative writing, and uses none of that knowledge to live his free verse lifestyle. As a member of Old Growth Poetry Collective, he has featured at the Portland Poetry Slam, Olympia’s Love Our Local Fest, Olympia People’s Mic, and beyond. When not doing some combination of yelling and whispering poetry onstage, he enjoys good books, bad television, and only the
nerdiest of board games.
