Meyer earned a B.A. in theatre, and four advanced degrees, two each in theology and literature/writing. He's published nearly 100 poems, a play, and some essays. His recently completed book THE LOTUS WAR: Never In-country, about evading the Vietnam War and the long-term consequences of that evasion, is making the rounds of publishers, as is CHRONICLE OF AN OBSESSION a chapbook about surviving prostate cancer. After brief stints teaching college English, and then as a Unitarian minister, Meyer worked in theological book publishing for nearly 30 years. He and his wife Pat have been happily married for 58 years.
