Deborah Leipziger is a poet, author, and professor. She is the author of several books on human rights and the environment, some of which have been translated into Chinese, Portuguese and Korean.

Born in Brazil, Deborah has lived around the world working in the field of human rights. She is currently a Senior Fellow at the Lewis Institute at Babson as well as Adjunct Faculty at the Simmons School of Management and a Lecturer at Bard's MBA in Sustainability.
