Diane G, Martin (dianegmartin)

Diane G. Martin, Russian literature specialist and translator, Willamette University graduate, winner of the Diana Woods Memorial Award for Creative Nonfiction and runner-up for the Princemere Poetry Prize, has been anthologized and has published poetry, prose, and photography in numerous literary journals from the US to the West Indies. Her poetry collection A Pilgrim’s Progress was published in 2020. Long-time resident of Nevada, Oregon, San Francisco, California, Maine, USA; St. Petersburg, Russia; and Sansepolcro, Italy, she has one daughter. The themes of exile, disability, and displacement pervade her work. She has completed several books of poetry, as well as a collection of creative nonfiction pieces, has recently completed a multi-genre memoir, and is at work on a novel. She has judged a poetry translation contest, and been featured in a Russian podcast for Litera Globus.
