I am a gender fluid, queer, depressed, poet, and suicide survivor with a BA in secondary education and an MA in curriculum and instruction. I spent five years as a public school teacher until a mental breakdown that led to a suicide attempt convinced me to burn it all down and pursue my career of being a professional writer. My poetry is a reflection of my lifelong journeys with mental illness, sexuality, gender, and identity.
