My past work lives include being an English composition instructor at Indiana University (Fort Wayne campus); a press secretary to the Mayor of Fort Wayne; a UC/Berkeley graduate student in public policy; a public policy analysis professional in California State government; and, the best of all (until I started writing fiction full-time), a public policy analysis consultant in private practice for 25 years. Since 2010, I have tried my hand at writing fiction. In addition to my first novel (now my unpublished novel "in the drawer"), I have written a few short stories. My major project, however, is a novel concerned with the American war in Vietnam ... still unfinished, but I am definitely gaining on it.
