Deauwand Myers (dkmyers)

A Williams Scholar and Lodwick C. Hartley Scholar Furman University​ graduate​, and former Graduate Teaching Fellow and Opportunity Fellow of the University of Vermont, Deauwand Myers holds a master’s degree in English literature and literary critical theory, specializing in Lacanian psychoanalysis​ with honors​. He has completed three manuscripts, the most recent of which is a story of two expats living in contemporary Japan, "Memoirs of a Gay Shawn." Currently, he’s an English professor at a university outside of Seoul, Korea. He's also a nationally-syndicated opinions columnist for "The Korea Times," amongst other publications.
