I’m a classically trained violinist, recital artist, and violin professor at the University of St Thomas in Houston, TX. I’m a native of Poland, and I’ve written poetry in my native Polish when I was very young. I’ve even released a poetry book back in 1996 in a form of a zine. I’ve lived in the US for over 20 years, and I’ve come back to writing poetry only very recently, after falling in (and out) of love. There’s been an almost 30 year gap between my youthful poetry, and what I’m writing today, the language itself being probably the biggest change. I’m excited to discover that words remain a powerful form of expression for me, almost as strong as music.
