I'm a wanderer. I write, I work, I play. I've followed Jack Kerouac to Denver to Chicago to Texas and back to Chicago. I loved Denver the most.
These days I live in Michigan where life is very slow. I have a wife and daughter, who are main inspirations in my work.
I ride a bike everywhere around the small tourist town where I reside. I spent last year in Chicago, and the winter was brutal and you can't ride a bike anywhere, and sometimes you can't drive a car.
I've followed in the tracks of Hemingway, who used to hitch rides on the train to the northern parts of Michigan past this tourist town I live in now. I went searching for his dad's house on Walloon Lake when I was 19.
Now I'm 29 and I know that there is not a sign for the Hemingway's house in Walloon Lake.
I really like reading the New Yorker, The New York Times, reading people's faces on the street, and reading new, experimental work from new writers.
