After retiring from teaching English in 2019, I enjoy spending more time in nature and the kitchen, reading and writing, and fighting climate change. I have an MFA from Warren Wilson, and have enjoyed a residency at Jentel Arts. Poems have appeared in Barrow Street, Borderlands, Cimarron Review, DMQ, Mudfish, and elsewhere. My first collection of poetry, "Where Is the River Called Pishon?" was published by Kelsay Books in 2018. My second collection, "Hour of the Green Light," was published by FutureCycle Press in January, 2021. I have two more manuscripts I am currently seeking publication for. I offer poetry manuscript reviews and offer writing workshops.
