Andrew Duke Killmer holds a Master's degree in Creative Writing from California State University, Sacramento. His poems and stories have appeared in print and online, in The Suisun Valley Review, Brev Spread, and The Black Rabbit Magazine. In 2010 he received the Quinton Duval Award in Creative Writing. In 2015 he won 1st place (Graduate Poetry) in the Dominic J. Bazzanella Literary Awards. In addition to poetry, he writes fiction and non-fiction, and mostly by longhand. He is currently writing (rather slowly) a monstrous novel about simple misunderstandings. He lives in South Sacramento with his wife and their dog, Pig.
