Heidi Andrea Restrepo Rhodes is a queer, disabled, Colombian/Latina, poet, writer, scholar, artist, and political activist. She has her M.A. in a postcolonial, social justice-based Anthropology and has done research on State and Paramilitary Violence in Colombia.
Her performance, creative writing, and photography have been seen in places such as San Francisco's SomArts, GalerÃa de la Raza, the SICK Collective, the U.C. Berkeley Multicultural Center, the Mixed Race Queer and Feminist Zine, Harvard’s Queer, Brown and Proud Press, Codex, Wilde, the Blue Lyra Review, and others. She currently lives in Brooklyn.
