I am a fourth year medical student at Ben Gurion University, the Medical School for International Health based in Israel. I did my undergraduate studies in Studio Art at Carleton College in Northfield, MN where I gained a deep appreciation for wide open vistas and running in negative 35 degree weather. I am a lover of narratives and the human body, two of the things that have drawn me to medicine—which is now culminating in the process of applying this fall to Residencies in Family Medicine across the United States. More and more I find myself verbalizing my experiences through the written word, hence this most recent enthusiasm around poetry.
