Jodi Shaw is a Canadian-born poet, performer, lyricist, composer and producer. She has written and recorded six albums of original music. Her work has been included on several compilations. In 2007 she won the Songwriters Hall of Fame Abe Olman Award for Outstanding Young Songwriters. She has toured the United State, Europe and parts of Canada, but by far her best performances took place underground on the subway platforms of New York City, where she lived for 16 years. In 2017 she relocated to rural western Massachusetts where she is at work writing her first poetry collection. She recently had her first poem published in Silkworm.
