I was born in Barking, Essex / East London in 1971 to working class parents, and I remain proudly so.
My Father was a Printer & my mother a Secretary; they met while both working for The Daily Mirror.
I am happily married to.... my Italian wife (and have a pasta belly to prove it) and live right on a river that literally flows past my garden, in Middlesex with my beautiful daughter, who has just turned 4.

So Im a 42 year old Husband and Father, currently muddling through my 49th nervous Breakdown (Jagger at 70 has got nothing on me) and what must be, at least, my 32nd mid - life crisis - I generally try to manage at least two or three a year.
Quite a few stones and all my hair ago, I studied Literature, History and Philosophy up to a Masters Degree, at QMW College, University of London. I then trained and qualified postgrad as a Newspaper Journalist with the NCTJ.
