I've written a bit of everything. I'm a retired librarian and editor. My new novel, which has been out about two weeks, is THE ILLEGAL, from Southeast Missouri State University Press. I almost self-published it, even though it won a Hackney Award in 2012, and a story adapted from it won the 2013 WWA Spur Award for best Western short story.
