JOHN SALACAN is a poet and writer, artist, composer, and has a book conservation and publishing business. He is the author of several books of poetry. His poems have appeared in The Everlasting Muse, Sensations Magazine, The Rift, Dream: Journal of Poetry and the Arts, of which he is the editor, and the Tumbleweed Tales Society Anthologies for 2009 and 2012, and the anthology Beyond the Rift: Poets of the Palisades. For the last decade he has been the host of a monthly poetry reading series in Pahrump, Nevada. His artwork has been exhibited in Tecopa, California, and in Pahrump. He has recently completed a short novel, Jenny Jump, and expects to release his latest book of poetry this year, The New York City Cantos.
