I have been publishing fiction in both paper publications and online for over twenty years. My stories have been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and been placed on storySouth’s “Million Writers†award list. My dramatic writing has been featured in the Mottola Theater Project’s Cherry Picking Festival and in their anthology of short plays, Cherry Picking. I have also published nonfiction in The English Journal and NFG Reports. I earned an MA in Creative Writing from City College of New York and a Ph.D. in American Literature from City University of New York. I am an English teacher in New York City and have lived in Brooklyn with my wife and two sons since before Brooklyn was cool. They were always cool.
