Juliette Zhu is student at UC Berkeley studying Cognitive Science and the writer behind @poemsforberkeley, a campus wide poetry initiative and small business. She is a nationally distinguished poet, having been named the first-place winner of the 59th Annual Nancy Thorp Poetry Contest, a winner in the Tadpole Press 100-Word Writing Contest, and an alumna of the Kenyon Review Young Writer's Workshop and Iowa Young Writer's Studio. Her poetry has been published in Cargoes, Tadpole Press, and more. She is also a TEDx speaker, contemporary dancer, researcher, and World War 2 enthusiast.
