Teacher, docent, poet, living in Rochester, NY. I love making connections between the arts, whether music/word/art/dance and actively participate in collaborations. I turned to writing in English, but am bilingual English/French and love thinking in different languages, playing with sound systems.
I love how writing offers the opportunity to explore what my imagination only starts to hint at. Reading well, revising carefully, helping others to do the same are wonderful passions to have! I also love playing piano! For the moment, I am concentrating on Rachmaninoff, Ravel, Debussy and Chopin.
Something about the latter part of the 19th century/early 20th draws me strongly but I try to be aware and in tune of the current world about me...
Mostly, I am curious about relationships -- whether man/nature; parent/child; between spouses, friends; work selves/play selves; etc.
