Lauren, 22, is aspiring physician who hopes to incorporate her passion for language, art, and the humanities in her practice of medicine. She firmly believes that in order to truly heal, one must understand what it is to be human. She hails from the island of Galveston, Texas, where the dust is sand and the shade is magnolia and palm.
