Lesley Bannatyne (lesleybannatyne)

I received the 2019 Tucson Festival of Books Literary Award first place for fiction and won the 2018 Bosque Literary Journal fiction prize. My work has been published in the Smithsonian, Christian Science Monitor, Boston Globe, and Craft, Zone 3, Shooter, and other literary magazines. As a freelance journalist, I've covered stories ranging from druids in Massachusetts to relief workers in Bolivia. I write extensively on popular culture, and my most recent non-fiction book, _Halloween Nation_, was a Bram Stoker Award finalist. I live and work in Somerville, Massachusetts.
