I am fairy new to poetry but I fell in love with the craft this past semester in my introduction to poetry class at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. I am a rising sophomore at Emory, and I come from a single parent household in Richmond, Virginia. I consider myself to be both a personal and a political poet.
