L. L. Babb has been a writer since the age of seven, when she wrote a four page who-done-it featuring Lorraine Velvet, child private eye. She currently teaches at the San Francisco Writers Studio. Her short stories and personal essays have appeared in The San Francisco Chronicle, Dos Passos Review, Kalliope, and tens of other publications. Her most recent work has been hailed as “…not quite right for us at this time†and many top critics wish her luck in placing her work elsewhere.
